Wallpaper Sample dimension cm.130 x cm.72
Inspired by japanese decorated cloth called Kesa.
After the death of a woman of high social status, her treasured garments would often be presented to a temple, where they were made into altar decorate cloths or vestments. Such donations constitute a form of shogon, which was thought to bestow karmic merit on the donor. Shogon refers to the gorgeous adornment of Buddhist altars and worship halls where rituals are performed.
This sample includes a real-scale detail & a complete miniature of Flying China Flowers design (real scale width cm.135 – vertical repeat cm.300).
