From a beautiful scroll Qing style that shows children playing in a garden, some carrying lanterns in the shape of rabbits, goldfish and cicadas, while other hold musical instruments or ride horses.
Dark Blue satin embroidery with silver threads and floss silks stem.
The depictions convey a wish for the recipient to have many children, especially sons and so the scroll would have been suitable for a wedding textile.
